She might not have the knowledge that the fraternity between India and Bangladesh is affixed with secularism, democracy, language, culture, history, shared values and other countless commonalities that traces back unified cultural heritages of a thousand years. In the last couple of years, the relationship had been further deepened including cooperation in development activities. Which has definitely reached a new level with the recent visit of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to Bangladesh during 26-27 March 2021.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh may seriously consider placing a strong protest against this defamatory remark of Kangana Ranaut through India in Bangladesh (High Commission of India, Dhaka) that should reach the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and PMO India at the earliest, as she is not a commoner but a Bollywood Celebrity and her such comment may create unwanted aggression in India about Bangladeshis as she is followed by many.
It is unfortunate, heartbreaking, and unacceptable. We seek her to issue an “Apology Statement” immediately for her this chaotic Twitter post.
