A meeting between JICA and BASIS took place on Monday, September 20, 2021 at BASIS Board Room. Mr. Akihiro Shoji, JICA Expert and Mr. Hasan Ahmed Sharif, HR & GA Expert from JICA and Mr. Hashim Ahmed, Secretary, BASIS, Mr. Enamul Hafiz Latifee, Joint Secretary (Research Fellow), Ms. Nadia Tabassum, Assistant Manager, Trade Facilitation Department of BASIS attended the meeting.
Future collaboration between JICA and BASIS in the area of trade & investment, Capacity building, HRD, B2B matchmaking session, webinars were emphasized in the meeting. Mr. Shoji appraised the status of the ongoing and upcoming projects like B-JET, ITEE, B-MEET and the like during the discussion.
