A meeting between Marubeni Corporation and BASIS was held on Wednesday, 29 September 2021 at BASIS Board Room. Mr. Masayuki Omoto, Chief Operating Officer, Next Generation Business Development Division, Mr. Maki Dan, Ph.D., Next-Generation Social Infrastructure Department, Mr. Hikari Kawai, Country Head of Bangladesh, Mr. Taichi Kijima, General Manager, Machinery & Project Department attended the meeting from Marubeni Corporation. Ms. Farhana A. Rahman, Senior Vice President, Mr. Rashad Kabir, Director, and Mr. Enamul Hafiz Latifee, Joint Secretary (Research Fellow), attended the meeting from BASIS.
The meeting participants addressed the future collaboration between Marubeni Corporation and BASIS in the avenues of offshore development, ICT skills development, venture funding, and international market linkage for emerging IT/ITES entrepreneurs and businesses.
